Tutorial Summary

Tutorial 01 : Glued Contact Interaction

This tutorial is focused on specific glued contact examples highlighting highly-idealised, yet efficient assembly definition, primary sizing and load path assessment and quick turn-around for trade studies and ‘what if’ analysis.

 

Tutorial 02: Edge Tie Interaction

This tutorial is focused on the development of a structural loads model, including 1- and 2-D FE mesh definition, edge tie interactions between sub-assemblies and model export for a down-stream analysis process.

 

Tutorial 03: Explicit Connector Interaction

This tutorial is focused on the development of a certification model, including detailed 2-D geometry and FE mesh definition, discrete fastener connections between sub-assemblies and model export for detail joint analysis.

 

Tutorial 04: Detailed Fastener Contact Interaction

This tutorial is focused on the development of a stress-converged verification model, including detailed 3-D geometry manipulation and FE mesh definition, discrete fastener interaction between sub-assemblies and model export for non-linear fastener contact analyses.
